I suppose that is now the end of September and soon to be October I must accept the fact that fall is here to stay, however much I may miss the glorious days of summer…. To get into fall wardrobe apparel we make a statement with it and pull out some fierce outfits. I am now of course just itching to go shopping to get excited about the chilly days ahead. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and enjoy some of my fashion inspiration pics xx Glamour Planner
I am totally in love with this scarf, looks beyond soft and perfect for keeping warm when the cool breeze comes.
This earring and necklace set just scream fierce to me, awesome for dressing up jeans or setting off a dress neckline.
Legging I find are perfect for being able to keep your outfit exciting and unique and still keeping warm.
This combo: tee, gold belt, plum skirt + leather = fierce.
I will be investing in many vests this fall, a great way to add personality and another dimension to your outfit.
Hope everyone had a relaxing and fun weekend, I know I did! When creating a design or looking at a home I love for there to be that extra little extra spark to the room. I find this to be easily achieved by using wallpaper. With the large selection of choices that are available now you can do almost anything imaginable for your taste or preference! It is also a quick fix to a room if you are wanting to spruce it up or a do it yourself project. Here are some room’s that the focus and life comes from the wallpaper. xx Glamour Planner
How amazingly awesome is this wallpaper! Of course being in the right room and vibe you are wanting to create.
Although this is a very neutral space it is perfect how the wallpaper adds dimension with the large pattern.
This organic style splatter is a perfect background when you want something interesting but not too bold to take away from the other furniture or objects in the room.
Pick your favourite city or map and make it into wallpaper for a feature wall!
If you are looking for something to make a statement, this would be it. I would keep this to just a portion of the room considering the busyness in the paper.
Hi my glamourites!
You know when you just have one of those cravings, the one where you just can’t shake, no matter what else you eat or even if you have a little bit of it, you still want more. Well that has been me with Nutella this week! Almost every evening I have been reaching for that jar and finding anything I can to dip into it or spread it onto. I stumbled upon this recipe through foodgawker (my fave food site ever) from a blog called The Baking Robot which I thought was very cute site! This recipe looks almost too pretty and colourful to eat but also that it would be absolutely delicious! Be perfect for Valentine’s Day dessert, but that’s a while away. Check it out xx Glamour Planner
Ombre Nutella Cups
1/2 cup Nutella
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1-1/2 tbsp milk
red candy melts
pink candy melts
white candy melts
1. Line a mini muffin tin with mini cupcake liners. Set aside.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together Nutella and powdered sugar. Stir in vanilla extract. Add milk slowly until you get a consistency that you can work with your fingers and roll into balls. (At this point, you can add more powdered sugar or milk to get your desired consistency. I made a more wet mixture for a creamy filling but it was more difficult to work with.)
3. In three separate bowls, microwave all three candy melts individually in thirty-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth. (I melted about five handfuls of each color.) Spoon the melted red candy first into the bottom of the cupcake liner, shaking the muffin tin as needed to distribute and spread the candy evenly. Repeat with the pink candy melts, spooning and spreading evenly on top of the red.
4. Take about 3/4 – 1 teaspoon of the Nutella filling and drop into the center of the cups. Cover with the melted white candy until flush with the tops of the liners. Decorate with sprinkles and refrigerate until completely chilled and hardened.

I hope you are having an enjoyable week so far! I know I am already looking forward to the weekend myself! In fashion we are constantly trying to find out what the latest trend is, the newest designer or the biggest name brand. This can be difficult and tiring, believe me. Sometimes I find it helpful to go to the back of my closet and pull out the basics. The ones that are so simple that when put together they make a statement. I love doing this because it’s a great opportunity to wear those clothes that you haven’t been able to be wear lately. You feel much more creative mixing and matching until you chose a winner outfit. These outfits I have selected are what I would think are most likely in many of our closets (or something similar) and are appropriate for many occasions. Take a look and maybe tomorrow you will find yourself digging in the back of your cupboards. xx Glamour Planner
For this outfit I really enjoying the solid shade colours, black, grey and white. It creates amazing dimension while looking simple and classic.
With these cool days creeping up on us there is nothing better that your old big knit scarf. Pair it with some leather and lips that pop.
Try that old-school braid look your Mom always used to do…or change it up with a fishbraid!
This tee is awesome because of the clean V neck but the leather sleeves gives it some edge to the basic look.
Why not dress up those summer shorts with a baggy top or crop top and your fave heels.
Nothing gets more back to basics with the white tank, jeans and black heels. Easy, vintage and fab.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend and found time for some relaxation today! Grab some inspiration from this post and throw together a little gathering for this evening. My main inspiration when planning a party comes from having a theme of some sort to bring everything together, from the decor to the type of food served. However when you are having some people over for a casual dinner party or drinks on a Thursday, it’s a lot of effort to go all out last minute, but it’s still nice to have little touches to make the evening special and create flow. One example that is easy is to pick one colour to coordinate everything with: napkins, flowers, table decor ect… Now of course I love anything sparkly or bright so naturally I love the colour gold; it adds some shine to the room and makes your guest feel like they are being spoiled. These pictures are examples of some straightforward tips that can be done last minute! xx Glamour Planner
Take some streamers from your cupboard or run to the dollar store, cut the sides of the streamers and twist them as they hang. The simplest way to transform a wall for a party time!
Serving up some champagne or sparkling wine? Dip the glasses in eatable gold glitter.
Creating signs for a buffet table or snack table adds an extra level of sophistication, it shows you took the time. Take the sign and pop it in a little frame for a professional look.
Take your old wooden candle holders or some cheapies and add some glitter, a quick DIY project!
The simplicity of this table I adore. Adding two tone table cloths also adds interest and something as simple of a hanging feature above the table completes the table setup.
I just enjoy this 🙂
It seems when fall comes around I am drawn again to natural tones, materials and fabrics for in my designs, my apartment and tastes. With the changing of the season colours start to appear in the trees and the warmth of orange and reds brighting up the streets. The autumn time allows for nature to be featured more than usual with such activities; pumpkin carving, apple picking, fire crackling and leafs for decor. So why not use natural wood all year long in your home to be a main focus in the design or function. These pictures highlight the beauty of wood in its natural element while fitting into different home styles and creating contrast. Hope everyone is transiting into fall better than I am xx Glamour Planner
This simple linear wood table is an ideal space for all uses and is set off ideally by the brick wall in the background.
I love how the wood bar top has been left natural at the ends and the shape curves as it instinctively would.
These puzzle piece like mats are very unique as you can create them as small or large you need for the function while creating a table interest.
This space is a perfect example of how it is possible to mix the natural wood with soft fabrics and works well.
I enjoy this whole bathroom vanity for the rustic feel and the bold wood mirror frames makes the statement in the space.
Seeing as it is hump day it seems only right to bake yourself up a little something yummy with chocolate! This recipe I found through a blog called Just A Taste , which they have many delicious food inspiration and a helpful search index. Pecans are probably one of my favourite nuts and they work so perfectly in many baking recipes such as this, but also in cookies, granola and salads. This recipe in particular doesn’t require many crazy ingredients and is fast to prepare making it an easy dish to whip up last minute for guests. I hope you all are having a fabulous week and this only makes it sweeter xx Glamour Planner

Obviously I am struggling to get readjusted to this whole school routine thing again; not used to requiring an attention span for longer than an hour listening to lectures! Needless to say, I have felt very uninspired and seem to be lacking in energy to write any posts. I am determined to make that change and commit more time to the blog and my own creative research. Here are some pictures I saw last week, as well as a few more that I found today. Perhaps they will get me excited for the fall days ahead! Enjoy xx Glamour Planner
Okay I’m not excited for the cold fall days but this sweater makes me come to terms with it. Love the two tone colours!
The simple lines within the heel straps are very eye catching while still casual enough to wear with jeans.
It’s a risk to try opposite direction stripes in one outfit but when pulled off, it’s a success!
Black and white two faced pants…I’d say these are pretty awesome.
Scarves are a must have for this upcoming season and I love all the colours as well as line thicknesses in this scarf making it fun!
