I got a little too excited yesterday when the temperature outside went above 0 degrees! I know that’s definitely not anywhere near to being a warm spring day, but it is a big improvement from negative 26 with wind chill. In getting excited about spring being around the corner, I started brainstorming ways to lighten up your home by adding a fresh feel. This can easily be done by putting a new coat of paint on the wall, reupholstering furniture, spray painting wooden chairs or even buying some new plants. Green is the perfect colour in many ways; it is known as the colour of balance and harmony and of course is the symbol of regrowth or spring. I hope it is warming up wherever you are and you get a chance to add some green to your house!

Hope everyone had a relaxing and fun weekend, I know I did! When creating a design or looking at a home I love for there to be that extra little extra spark to the room. I find this to be easily achieved by using wallpaper. With the large selection of choices that are available now you can do almost anything imaginable for your taste or preference! It is also a quick fix to a room if you are wanting to spruce it up or a do it yourself project. Here are some room’s that the focus and life comes from the wallpaper. xx Glamour Planner
How amazingly awesome is this wallpaper! Of course being in the right room and vibe you are wanting to create.
Although this is a very neutral space it is perfect how the wallpaper adds dimension with the large pattern.
This organic style splatter is a perfect background when you want something interesting but not too bold to take away from the other furniture or objects in the room.
Pick your favourite city or map and make it into wallpaper for a feature wall!
If you are looking for something to make a statement, this would be it. I would keep this to just a portion of the room considering the busyness in the paper.
I hope everyone is having a fun start to your weekend! I’m at my cottage for the weekend and can’t wait to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. What’s especially nice at the end of a long day of watersports and sunbathing is to cozy up in a bed full of pillows or soak in a nice warm bubble bath. It a calming way to wind down after a long week or a particularly busy weekend. These inspiration pictures remind me of the perfect spot just to curl up with a good book or take a cat nap. This large “L” couch looks like the perfect corner area to snuggle up with a blanket and watch a movie.
The detailing in the window moulding reminds me of an old Victorian home with the large drapery curtains. A perfect space to spend an afternoon daydreaming.
I don’t think there is anything more classic than a big bed with white sheets, white pillows and a gorgeous headboard. I wish I could run and jump into these bed for a pre-dinner nap!
ahh…what could possibly be more calming to chase all your stress away than a nice warm bath, with candles of course, and flower petals; this room has it all!
