Hello Glamorites!
Lately I have been seeing a lot of vintage influence in fashion, parties and even movies. When I saw the new Great Gatsby movie in theatres this week I was loving the vintage and classical feel in every aspect from the clothing to how they spoke. I loved the attention to detail that the movie captured; it captured the essence of the Roaring 20’s and I loved how they took and pride in what they wore, how they looked, and their attitude about how they were presented. Enough about the past for now….I found this gorgeous picture and adored the entire look, so I created a how-to!
Hope you enjoy it & maybe even try a little vintage style today too!

It is super handy if you are rushed for time, didn’t have time to shower but want to still look nice and put together. As well though it is a fabulous look for when you are getting all dolled up and wanted to show off some jewels or dress. Here is a great how-to for the sock bun by Beautylish! JEWELS – Dangling Chandelier
These type of earrings are very eye catching, they have a unique shape plus the sparkle to add some glitter and shine! Two similar examples to the earrings from the picture I found from Lia Sophia, a jewelry company selling pieces through home parties! MASCARA – Long & Lushes Lashes
Here are 3 simple tricks I have learned to properly apply mascara and for better results!
Step 1: Wiggle the mascara wand a little from side to side at the base of the lashes, it is the mascara placed at the roots of the lashes that give the illusion of length.
Step 2: Pull the wand up and then through the lashes while continuing to wiggle as you go, the wiggle is key as it helps separate the lashes.
Step 3: The final little trick is to close your eye and put the mascara on the top of the lashes and pull through as to remove any clumps.
